4NEW CAN SAVE AFRICA
Mother Africa has gone through a lot of crises in terms of energy and proper waste disposal. However, no proper methods have been put across to help solve these problems. As a concerned African, specifically Ghanaian, i want to elaborate on some great benefits that Ghana and Africa at large will gain from this amazing project by 4NEW.
I believe that it will be a blessing and a life saving moment when 4NEW starts operations in Africa. Why do i say this? My reasons are explained based on the two main goals of this 4NEW project which is getting rid of waste and increasing energy supply.
4New to help with waste Management in Africa
One problem that we are finding difficult to solve is waste disposal in Africa. In Ghana, waste management is very poor and this has caused lots of tragedies. Most the waste is disposed off in landfills and these landfills are just around communities where people live. This unpleasant act has brought about most disease outbreaks in Ghana. It is amazing to know that Cholera is major problem in Ghana and this is killing most people here. Because waste is not properly disposed, the waste gets rotten and the water that comes from it gets into our water beds and contaminate drinking water. In 2016 alone, 10 people died from the cholera outbreak that struck Cape Coast, a town in Ghana.
These landfills where waste is been disposed have also become the habitat for mosquitoes which causes malaria. It is surprising to know that malaria is the number one killer disease in Ghana. Are we killing ourselves due to our improper waste disposal?
Again, the improper waste management has caused a lot of disasters in Ghana. Almost every year, flood kills people in Ghana and leaves many others homeless. The floods that happen is always as a result of waste blocking drainage systems therefore when there is rainfall, the water cannot flow and these floods happen. The worst of these disasters is what happened on June 3rd 2015. On this day in Ghana, over 150 lives, children, women and men were snuffed out in the most horrifying circumstances when the rain turned into a storm, the storm into floods because waste has blocked drainage systems ; the floods gave way to fire and the fire left behind charred bodies, burnt properties in an unplanned city. Are we not killing ourselves?

When 4NEW gets to Africa, many lives will be saved. All waste will be collected and not sent to distant landfills but will be converted to electricity.
One sad reason why people in Africa dispose off waste indiscriminately is because they cannot afford to pay a waste management company to dispose off the waste. That is why 4NEW is the best for Africa. This is so because 4NEW's services are cheaper. Let's look at it this way; 4NEW do not send waste to any distant landfills so no additional money is spent to maintain the landfills. Do you now understand why I'm saying 4NEW can save Africa?

Africa, though a developing country with less urbanization and industrialization, still has a serious energy crisis. It sometimes becomes surprising to people when they do not see lightsout in a month since it is unusual. With the rapid growth in population and the improvement in urbanization and industrialization in Africa, there has been an increasing demand for energy and this demand will keep on increasing. With these improvements, the only solution for Africa is 4NEW. Power shortfall became too common and there were many instances where the power could go off at anytime in Ghana which resulted in the genesis of the popular term "dumsor". How can a nation improve it's energy sector when it only uses hydroelectric power?
With 4NEW in Africa, all the waste we generate which is difficult for us to manage will be collected by 4NEW and converted to electricity which we are struggling with. 4NEW will be here to save us from two very important problems. I hereby reaffirm my claim that 4NEW CAN SAVE AFRICA.
